Often when a client has a water damage claim, the agent is out of the loop. Sometimes they only hear about what happens if the client is unhappy about something or they feel they are getting a raw deal from the insurance company, their adjustor, or their contractor. By the time the agent or agency claims specialist hears about the problem, it can often be too late and can damage the relationship between the client and their insurance agent.
Our Shine Program is designed to keep the insurance agent in the loop when one of your valuable clients suffers a water damage. Let me take a moment to describe how the program works.
A representative of Overcast Restoration will contact your agency and inform you when we are performing a water damage at one of your clients home or business. At this time we can schedule a time for you or the claims specialist to meet with one of our certified technicians at the water damage location. This technician will then describe to you the mitigation plan and drying goals for that specific location. We will also set a time to review our drying report with you or your claims specialist after the completion of the dry out.
